Got the servo, help?? (searched)
Hi, I searched all over the place and could not find any concrete information about servo change.
My problem rises for having my bird as the only car, thus I really need to know exaclty what I need before I dive into a job.
I just got the corvette servo piston, with the ring seals. I was just wondering if I need the housing for the servo, or just re-use mine???
Do, I need different O rings for anything else there?? Or do I need to go get some special ones.
Here is what I got.

the only thing you replace is the two pieces that you got(as well as the new rings). the outer cover and piston as well as the pin and cusion you reuse from yours as they are the same.

Check this link:
Installing a Corvette Servo into your 700R-4
Although I lowered the tail end and R&R'd the servo as an assembly. Their method is also a way to do it.
Another issue is the cover O-ring. As others have mentioned, work the cover out a little until you can hook the O-ring. Pull it out enough to cut it. Then pull on an end to remove it from between the case & the cover. Then continue to remove the cover.

Rbob, as always you DA MAN!
I have had that site saved on my favorites, since I did search
. However, I am kinda a visual guy. The best thing for me is to look at a schematic of how the whole thing is assembled and go to town. If you have a drawing of how everything goes together I would LOVE to have it. If you don't thats cool too. I guess I'll find out one way or another.
What I will try to do when I change my servo is kinda sketch out how it goes together, just in case nobody has the schematics.
