Car: 1988 Chevy Camaro
Engine: 2.8L V6
Transmission: 700r4 big old automatic
Axle/Gears: 3.42 one wheel smoker
700r4 help

I plan on doing a motor swap i was just curious if the bellhousings on the v6 700r4 is the same as the v8

no. the v6's were 60 degree motors, not 90 degree like the v8's, thus have a different bellhousing.
- the only v6 with the standard 90 degree bellhousing is the 4.3

the v8 trans also have better internals than the v6 trans.
