This gets asked so much, I'm not going to bother answering it yet again.
Do a quick search. You'll turn up a HUGE number of posts on the subject.
You'll find that there is in fact a way to put the inferior, more fragile, and less desirable 6-cylinder transmission into a situation that guarantees it will live a short and unsatisfactory life, and enjoy a spectacular death.
And as I've said before about this, just because there might be a way to do it, doesn't mean it's a good thing to do.

If you want a t5, save yourself some trouble and visit a bone yard or hawks, and get one from a later model thirdgen that has a V8.
