Transmission Swap Questions

I am planning on taking out the original TH200C trans. out of my car and replacing it with a TH350.
I have heard it was a direct fit with only a few modifications with some linkage or something. Both transmissions are the same overall length .Could someone please tell me what I will have to change to make this work. Thanks in advance
Allen

I did the same swap in a 2nd gen camaro. The only thing I changed was the tranny itself nothing else.

straight forward swap. you'll just need the torque arm bracket to mount the torque arm. b and m or hurst makes them

The first question I have isoes the 200 and 350 have the same rubber bushing that goes between the transmission and crossmember?Because the 350 trans that I put in did not have the bushing on it so I used the one off the 200.It seems to be way too thick,I can jack the rear of the transmission nearly all the way up till it touches the underside of the car but still cannot get it in there.
Also:The torque converter on the 200 was threaded but the 350 torque converter is not so my question is :are these special type bolts/nuts that will hold the flywheel to TC for the 350 trans?Would anyone have part numbers for them?
1BADRZ28::Where exactly is the torque are bracket located?

Thanks for the replies, guys.I have the transmission bolted in now.I just had to stop and take a break and learn a little patience.Everything fit right in.
Next question :.Are all TH350 kick-down cables the same length. The cable that came with the trans almost fits in the existing throttle bracket that housed the TV cable from the 200C.It will fit from the trans to the square hole where it mounts but it is too long from there to the carb.Do I need to get a different throttle bracket? If so,will I have to find one within a couple years of my car and model specific from my local junkyard or can I get a GM generic adjustable one fron the parts store?I noticed that the throttle cable,kick-down cable and fuel line were attached to this bracket.Any help with this would be appreciated

OK,I have the transmission in and have driven it a few times. It shifts great even though I have not hooked up the kick-down cable yet.I have two leaks that I need to ask some questions about.
My bad leak is at the dipstick tube. This tube has a o ring near the end of it but the tube does not have a bracket so as to mount it to keep it from flopping around. The 200C had a bracket pressed on the tube that bolted to the bellhousing to engine bolts.
Are the holes for the th350 and th200c the same? The reason for asking is that I was thinking about using the dipstick and tube that came out of the 200C trans even though they have a different contour,The tube out of the 200C has a different type of seal,It fits inside the hole and then the dipstick fits into it.
The other leak is where the speedo cable goes into the trans.I am assuming that there is a seal or two that goes there also? How are they installed?Part numbers?
Any info or past experiences with soloutions with these problems would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,Allen

Lokar makes a nice flexable trans stick, they work great!
