1992 camaro rs

I know that I have a 2 series carrier{what bolt?) but want to put a posi in it. I can get a good deal on a 3 series posi. So does that mean that I need to get a new housing, what axels ,rebuild kit and gears? Wanted to do this econimically instead of a 12 bolt but this might add up also. Any replys?

To go to a 3-series posi you'll just need the posi, 3-series gear and pinion set, new bearings and a crush sleeve. The axles that you have will work fine with most aftermarket diff for our 7.5 10-bolt housing.

The search can bring up more detail information.
