Speedometer questions

Ok here it goes...
I am going to be swapping an '83 t-5 into an '88 formula. I need to know what i need to make the speedo work properly. I have 3.73 gears. What gears, connectors, etc do i need to make this work??

Do i need to replace both the driven and drive gears?

Axle/Gears: Limited Slip 3.23's
Pop the driven gear and its sleeve and check inside the tranny (or pop the tail shaft) for the drive gear. You'll need to change the gear or gears if you don't have a 7-tooth purple (mine was more blue) drive gear and a 21-tooth red driven gear.
