im not familiar with the options of these cars. i thought they all had 3 spds from like 82-84,but its got a 700r4.now,for the rear,i dont feel like pulling the cover off(would be my third cover removal this week).so by chance,do you think sombody had the posi option,or standard equipment?i got the car at a pretty good deal,300 bucks.needs the interior put back in.and a paintjob,but when i get it done,itll be nice.its also my thirdgen in my life,im only 17 so im doin pretty good.when was the 1LE option availiable?its not rear disk,i was just wondering.once i tear into it,i hope you guys have some info on how to set up the tranny cables and what not.park isnt park,lmao.its still reverse.any help appreaciated.

also,if i were to put 1 wheel in grass and one on dry pavement,a open rear would NOT spin both tires correct? god i hope not,if they are that strong then why are you spending your money on posi's?!?!

3 speed was only in 82 and some models in 83. 1983 was the start of the A4

The 1984 Berlinetta with an A4 and V6 has a 3.23 open diff
The 1984 Berlinetta with an A4 and V8 has a 3.08 open diff
