t5 swap question. need quick advice
will a world class t5 from an 88 2.8 fit into a 87 5.0 and vise versa. and if it wont is there any workarounds? i need to know quick. im sure the input splines are different but let me know.

i know pizza_guy is doing a similar swap.
putting the tranny/clutch/bellhousing from the v8 to the v6 might not be a problem
but what about putting the the stuff from the v6 to the v8?

Did you do a search? This question comes up all the time. The basic answer is no, a V6 and V8 T5 are not compatible. The long answer is you can make it work if you want to spend time and money that isnt worth it.
