Hey whats up F-Body brothers and sisters just wondering if anyone knows if a 90' RS rear end would bolt right up to my 83' Z28, and if so what options were available on a 90' as far as gear ratios are concerned. My Camaro came with a 5 speed and 3.93 gears. The 90' RS came with a 5 speed if that is any help. oh and one more thing it has disc brakes and my 83' came with rear drums, is this swap difficult? Thanks for the help.

Welcome to TGO. You'll find that a search on this topic will provide enough reading material for the remainder of the day. Briefly, yes, the swap is no big deal. By the way, your 83 had 3.73's if it were an L69. Couldn't say about the new rear (though if it has rear discs, it should have 11.7 inch rotors and alum calipers, PBR's. Generally, a very desirable rear end).
