You can add fluid through the shifter boss, but pour slowly or it will over flow. There is also a fill plug about halfway up on the passanger sinde of the case. It should take a 3/8 ratchet drive to take out.

5678TA- How do you like your G force t5. Is it a daily driverable trans? Did you opt for the dog leg setup or syncronized? Sorry for all the questions, but I am looking into this setup when I rebuild my trans this summer.

carguy502, i have the syncronized.. i dont drive it everyday but it could be.. i only put 2500 miles so far and its been a couple years.. i love the trans and it takes all the abuse i put it through.. 5500rpm clutch drops on drag radials.. 5k drops with slicks.. anything.. if your motor is going to be a high rpm peaky motor, then dont get the wide 5th ratio.. i have it and my motor is all upper rpm and it was a bad idea gettin the wide 5th.. speed limit in 5th is well below the usable rpm in my motor.. or if you have 4.11+ rear gears then get it cause the gas mileage.. just something for you to think about..

Thanks for the info. It will be my daily driver and the motor will be a sub 6000 rpm motor with torque to go around with 3.42s. I think I'll use the wide ratio syncronized system.

if you get the .59 ratio 5th gear, 55mph will be under 1500rpm.. cause you are in cali, i'm guessing the speed limit is 65.. so 65mph will give you 1700rpm in 5th.. a pretty good rpm for highway performance and gas mileage..
if you wanna calculate your own go here and input all your info
