Well, i knew my clutch was fooked somehow and i decided after tightening my belts today to see how bad it really was.

did a brake stand and.. Smoke came from the clutch (under the car) and not the tires lmao
it had a burnt oil smell to it ( is this the normal roasted clutch smell?)

because i was thinking,High rpm- Leaking main seal- Stinky slipping clutch

Opinions/comments whatever, I just need to figure this thing out

 

Either way looks like your going to have to replace that clutch and when your down there go ahead and replace the rear main seal since I believe you have a 1 piece deal.

 

Yeah I know, Just trying to figure out how im gonna pull this of in my driveway, Im pushing it as long as i can, And i suppose i may have to cover it till it gets warm again.

Yeah itll be a good time to replace alot of things, Rear main seal, Pilot bushing, I THINK my imput shaft seal on my tranny is leaking 2
Its always a project with these old cars
