Difference between an 85 and a 90 TH700?

I know that the TH700 transmissions were upgraded around 87 but does anyone know what the differences were?

A mate of mine has a spare TH700 out of a 90 Camaro and I want to install it in my 85 Z28. Will they swap over directly? The 90 one was rebuilt [all stock] about 3 years ago - would I be better off just having mine rebuilt rather than swap in the 90 one? Its only done a couple of thousand miles since the rebuild but its been sitting around out of the car for about 6 months...

The 90 has the following improvements:
10 vane pump vs the 7 vane
28 element sprag vs the 26
wide lo roller clutch vs the narrow
aux valve body
slightly deeper pan (1 mm)

I think the '90 has a better low gear planetary set as well.....
