a friend had bought a 91 V-6 91 bird and unfortunatly he got rearended. now we found him an 88 V-6 camaro we can get for dirt. is the trans in the 91 the same as the 88? or will it cross over? the trans in the camaro is toast is why im asking this.

I have not worked on allot of the V6 engines for there cars, but as long as the engine size is the same i think it should work, a 2.8 and a 3.1 would need a computer to comply with the swap minimum.
