s-10 torque converter ?
I've heard thru the grapevine that a s-10 torque converter will stall something like 2200-2400, is this true? Which engine/model year s-10 converter do i need for an 89 tpi 350/700r4 combo? Thanks, Chris.

What does the stock convertor stall at? How much of an improvement would one see with the S10 convertor? 1/4 mile times?

Stock stall converter is 1600 rpms. I heard the S10 one is a 2000 stall, same as the Corvette. *shrug* It should be worth 1 or 2 tenths reduction in ET.
