Car: Yes
Engine: Usually
Transmission: Sometimes
Axle/Gears: Behind me somewhere
Yes of course they are made for pre-93 vehicles.

The manufacturer you need is Transgo.

Go here to order them www.bulkpart.com Get yourself the ATSG manual while you're ordering stuff, and also the governor recalibration kit.

If you want a TransGo Performance Shift kit that is taylored to your setup, and not just the "one size fits all", let me know as this is my specialty. This kit offers smooth part throttle shifts, and the shifts getting firmer with more throttle.

so with that transgo kit you HAVE to shift through all the gears like a manual car? i want a kit that is full manual where i can upshift and downshift as i please at any speed and any rpm.

The TransGo Performance Shift kit has the "full manual" option if that is what you want. The kit that I offer has the added accumulation, which the standard 700-2-3 does not offer. I add the Corvette servo with all the necessary seals, including the Viton seals, the larger main & intermediate boost valves, Torlon checkballs, TCC solenoid & governor filter, (option) new accumulator pistons with 2nd gear pin. Go to https://www.700r4l60e.com/store/cust...&cat=28&page=1 this is a complete description of the kit that I am talking about.

Does kit #t74171 allow for manual/automatic configuration where OD remains auto and the others shift directly to that gear?
