help

Hey guys I'm just wondering, I plan on making my car just for track, and really fun weekend driver. Should i just build up the stock 700 or build up a TH350? I dont care about gas mileage, Just wondering if either one is better than the other, or?? Engine mods would be heads, cam, LT1, 3000 stall and either 3.73 or 4.10's. Any help would be great.

a 350 will take more power for less buck, but you need conversion parts and driveshaft. only the 700r4 has overdrive. and it will bolt right in.

if you are talking drag racing then the Turbo 350 because if you manually shift a 350 manual 1 it actually has a lower ratio and more clutches applied in manual 1
