i'm just about done my megashifter install, i think i have a problem though. everything is finished its just now thati conected the shifter cable to the shifter i can not get the shifter to move or the shift lever on the trans. the car is turned on but the battery is not hooked up. not sure if this makes a difference or not. if anyone has any idea what im talking about i'd appreciate a reply asap.

no it shouldnt not as long as the key is in the on position, do u have the cable hooked up correctly to the shifter?and the trans? did u hook up the right cable? there is one cable that ur not suppose to use and if u hooked up that cable then it wont work. do u know that u have to pull the T trigger up to shift outa park?lol sry just making sure, maybe the cable is snagged or binding. not sure i understand the prob tho
