Strange 12 bolt owners with disc brakes inside please.

I called to order a Strande 12 bolt today and they were telling me that there is a difference between the 92 rear disc's and the 93-97 rear disc's. I always thought that they were the same. My rears have the PBR calipers. I heard that GM started putting the PBR's on the 91 and 92's because they had run there supply out and the PBR's were going on the 4th Gen's so they started to use them. I was looking into getting the billet alum. brake brackets, but the said that the 92's were different. Although they couldn't tell me what was different. What did you guys do? Any replies appreciated.

92Z. I went through the same thing. IF you order a Strange or even Moser rear end (12 bolt atleast) and the necessary caliber aluminum mounting brackets you WONT be able to use your stock PBR brakes. I speak from experience. I had to ditch my rear 1LE brakes in favor of a 96 LT1 rear set because 93 and up are the brakes those rears brackets fit. I can't speak for Baer, Wilwood, etc but GM stockers atleast, I know 82-92 won't work
