I tried searching but couldn't find anything like the problem i'm having. There are a lot of threads though so maybe I missed it somewhere.

I have an 89 iroc, the problem is that the car won't shift into gear until it's warmed up. I can move the shifter handle but the car won't actually go anywhere until warmed. Ive already tried the detent cable adjunstment so unless I screwed that up it didn't help. Anyone have any other suggestions on what I can do, it's really annoying since it takes a good 15 minutes for the car to heat up to the point I can drive it. I appreaciate any help anyone can give.
