t-5 question

im getting a 92 305 rs and was wondering if the stock t-5 would mate up to an l98 i know i may have to beef it up to handle the l98

Yes. It will bolt right up, no hesitation reservation or equivocation.

I would not worry about "beef up" unless you're planning on racing it with slicks. Other than that, the driver can make it live a long time, by just avoiding clutch dumps and speed shifting. Steady-state torque isn't too hard on them; mostly, what kills them, is shock.

You can grenade a T-5 to shrapnel with a 305; or you can make it live indefinitely behind a 400. It's all in how you drive it.

thanks for the quick reply im just starting to learn to drive standard doesnt help that im left handed but may just put a better clutch in just in case
