Torque Convertors

Ok i have a general question about torque convertors....

is there ANY way to tell what RPM stall a TQ converter is just by looking at it while its off the car?

If i cant do it at home, could a transmission shop be able to tell?

Re: Torque Convertors

If they had a torque converter dyno they could, but not many would have one.

Re: Torque Convertors

What they said...

Look for any markings; paint, stampings, part #s, etc. Without that, no way to tell.
