T-56 from another style car..
I was wondering if a T-56 from either like a viper or a Mustang Cobra would bolt up to our cars? How hard would it be to change the parts to make it work. Also is there a difference between LS1 and LT1 T56s? I want to use it for an LS1

Do a search - under T56 you'll find TON's of swap info.
The viper and mustang trans have a different input and different output, as well as a different shifter location. VERY few mustangs have the T56, only high-end models and very new models. The vette version is also very different.
Yes, the LT1 and LS1 versions are different.
