Has anyone done this mod?

Has anyone drilled out the restrictor between the clutch master and slave cylinder as seen in this article

http://www.chevyhiperformance.com/howto/39021/

If so has anyone actually noticed a differance in shifts?

That's an interesting article. I'm using the braided line from a 93-97 on my setup. I'll have to check and see if it's got that restictor in it after reading that.

Re: Has anyone done this mod?

It shouldn't. I never had any problem like that in my 97 Z28. The 97 powershifted just fine into any gear it was told to.

*EDIT*

Of course pushing the clutch pedal in that car was like trying to shove a boulder off the cliff onto the Roadrunner.
