Im trying to indentify a transmission and the owner seems unsure because he keeps giving me mixed information. Does anyone know what automatic transmission came out of a v6 firebird if it came with one. I know for a fact its a 4 speed auto but I need to go and look at it first and try and ID it by the fluid pan. He says it came in a 92 firebird but then says its a 2004r. Something just doesnt make sense so I want to try and Id the transmission myself.

I plan on bringing this so I have a good idea.



1 Aluminum Powerglide 14 bolts
2 TH200 Metric 11 bolts
3 TH350 13 bolts
4 TH400 13 bolts
5 TH200-4R 16 bolts
6 TH700-R4, 4L60, 4L60E 16 bolts
7 4L80E 17 bolts

 

stock, is a 700R4, if anyone swapped it, who knows. Its not a glide, 350/400. Those are not 4 spds.
