im installing a th400 in my camaro will this slip yoke work.http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...m=130119864907 it says its an outside snap ring will that work

i will need a conversion u-joint to right and i measured my driveshaft it is 42" long will this work.

The outside snap ring refers to the style of u-joint. That yoke uses a 1350 u-joint. You'll need a conversion u-joint to attach your factory driveshaft to it.

It's always best to get a custom length driveshaft made. Slide the yoke all the way into the tranny. Pull it back out 1". Measure from the center of the u-joint on the tranny yoke to the center of the yoke on the diff. That's the length of the driveshaft. Chances are with a TH400, you'll need a custom length.

If you get a custom driveshaft made, you can get 1350 weld yokes installed so you don't need to worry about conversion u-joints. My driveshaft is made from 3" x .083" walled steel with 1350 u-joints.
