What brand/model converter are you using for 2500 footbrake stall? LOCKUP only

Hi guys, after getting hosed by listening to one of the members on here who shipped me both a "2500" and a "3000" stall converters, I am going to cut my losses and buy a new converter. I am looking at having PTC do a custom converter for me--they have a great reputation for building high quality, efficient converters for Mopar guys I talk to.

I have an aftermarket headed, Holley Stealth Rammed 327 and need around 2500 footbrake stall. I absolutely NEED LOCKUP, no hack job non lockup 700R4 aftermarket converters please!!

Who has around 2500 footbrake stall with a L/U 700R4 converter, and who built it?

Yeah BTW the "2500" converter from the guy on this board ended up being a stock high stall (2000 flash) remanned converter, never run, so that is useless to me. Even better, the "3000" converter from him is a 1700 stock piece of crap. Found that out by running it. Well he sure showed me not to ever believe someone knows what they are talking about. Either that or he knew he had 2 stock converters and took me for a moron that would buy them anyway (surprise I did!)

Thanks guys!

Anybody? I see the off-brand 2200-2500 lockup 700R4 converters all over ebay well under $200, but I am sure they will be very inefficient POS's for that price. Especially since they are the big 12" case, I can't imagine you can get that high a stall speed with the huge stock converter and maintain good efficiency.

I have a daaco I think that is how it is spelled. It is 2500 stall and I noticed a big difference after it was installed. The shop that built my trans put it in after the third time I killed the trans under warrenty. Its been about 5 years since then.
