i was wondering how long you guys have had your shift kits in for and how long the trans has lasted. I was thinkin about getting a trans go kit but want to make sure my trans will last
any one have the trans go with full manual control?
how is it and how long have you had it?
any opinions are welcome

Shift kit will increase the life of the trans by reducing the slippage between gears and thus reducing wear on friction material.

The biggest factor in any tranmission's life expectancy will always be the weight of your right foot.

 

I had my tranny rebuilt 2 years ago. The only upgrades were a B&M street/strip shift kit and Z-pac clutches and band. I have had no prblems with it at all in the 2 years I have been driving it. When and if it does give out the next tranny will get many more upgrades.

 

From what I have seen from my TH700R4 doin' duty behind a TORQUEY L98, it is definately a strong transmission....shift kit....heavy right foot.. it's no light weight.
