Wiring to valvebody switch
I have a 4L60 from a 1992 Z28 (5.7L) in my Monte Carlo SS. I bought the transmission a few years ago. I had it setup so that it locks up in 4th gear only with the use of a valvebody switch. Now that I am using EFI and have a 730 91-92 TPI harness installed I want the trans to work like it did from the factory but I can't remember how things were wired. One thing I see is that it only uses 1 switch on the valvebody. But the connector going to that switch has two sides so it looks like something was connected to the other side. I remember the trans use to have a temp switch which I removed. I have been searching through the archives here and I have seen posts mentioning 15 different wiring combinations but I can't seem to find a picture of them. The one picture I did find shows two switches which doesn't help because I am pretty sure this valvebody only uses 1 switch.
