I have an 85 IROC with a 90 chevy 350 out of a truck with the 700r-4 that I assume was from the car anyway I bout the car becuse my brother in law could not get it to run he tryed to put a carb on it but did nothing with fuel preasure any way 3rd gear seams to be gone in the car now that it runs so I bought a "fresh" trans and want to put a shift kit in before I put in the trans this weakend and was wondering if ther is one that is better than the rest?

 

I would go with the 'modified' TransGo shift kit from Pro-Built Automatics; get with Dana @ www.700r4l60e.com.

yeah go with a trans go one, they fix problems with the trans and give you firmer shifts.

stay far away from the B&M or TCI junk unless you want to be replacing another trans.
