well after all the kinks had been worked out with the rebuilt transmission, (raptor rebuild kit and 2500 stall), the car feels like it gained a crapload of power! Before it felt like it was a decently powered car that had some b*lls when you stepped on the gas pedal. Now the car feels like it wants to rip the road up everytime i touch the gas pedal. 700Raptor.com is highly recommended!

I've been looking at that kit for a while. Did you do the work yourself? Do you need any special tools to rebuild a tranny yourself? Did you buy the kit and have a tranny shop do the work?

I bought the kit and converter from 700Raptor.com and told the tranny shop to use my parts. only cost ab $1000 using my parts...
