Re: Phoenix Performance?

Never heard of them. But there are alot of Converter rebuilders. To be honest they are just as good as thr TCI and B&M junk verters. Just not paying for the name. Heres one I am bout to be putting in as soon as the 700R4 is back together. http://www.gopnh.com/

Re: Phoenix Performance?

The reason I ask is that I found them on E-Bay so I sent them a quick e-mail. They responded within a few hours asking me all about my rebuild: cam specs, gear ratio, weight, etc.. Offered to build me a converter to 'best suit my car'. 9.5" converter - $399. For the price, I question the quality, but it's almost worth a shot...

Re: Phoenix Performance?

$400 is steep for questionable IMO. E-Mail the other one. I think more around $300 is their custom ones. I paid under $200 for a pre-made street stall 2100. Retail. Their site actually shows whats inside. The Pheonix talked about welding theirs and there is a weld vs. brazing comparo out there.
