do i need a kickdown with a manual VB?
i just bought a rebuilt transmission. The guy that got it rebuilt removed the kickdown assembly. I have installed a manual valve body from tci and am woundering do i need a kickdown sense i have manual control over the gear im in? thank you for any help anyone has.

With a manual valve body, there is no automatic feature in the transmission. Since there's no automatic shifting, a kickdown will do nothing.

By kickdown do you mean TV cable? I am interested to know if you still need a TV cable with a manual valve body.
