Transmission Connections
The Electrical Connections that go to the Transmissions, one is near the front of the Tranny, i'm guessing that is the VSS connection, but i found one near the rear of the tranny hanging off the tranny. my question is what is this connection, and where does it go? thx Scott

Re: Transmission Connections
I'm guessing you're talking about a T5, since that's what you list your car has.
There are only two connections. One for the reverse lights, and the other for the speedometer. They have different plugs so you cant put them in the wrong spot. The one in the back on the driver's side tailshaft is the speedometer. The other for the reverse lights is in the front but I dont remember if its on the driver's side or passenger side. On my T56 its on the passenger side.
Since you arent sure of your rear end gears, Camaro RS with a TBI engine and T5 transmission would have an open 3.08 rear end with drum brakes.
