need help with my T56 clutch and hydraulics

okay so i'm 17 have an 83 trans am that i am in the process of swapping a 1995 camaro Z28 T56 into. i bought the centerforce flywheel and a zoom clutch and that is all in the car and bloted up. i am running the stock 350 with the crossfire fuel injection. i have the LT1 starter on the car and that all works great. i have the pedals out of a 1995 camaro Z28 in the car right now and all of the hydraulics out of the 1995 car in the 1983 also. everything seems to be hooked up right. i can start the car out of gear and it runs fine and revs up no problem, but for some reason when the clutch pedal is all the way on the floor, the clutch does not disengage enough to put the car in gear. i tryed starting the car in gear with the clutch pedal all the way to the floor(with the rear wheels off the ground) and they still spin as if the clutch is not disengaging enough. i have searched the threads on here for hours with no luck. is there any one else who has had this issue that can help me out?

do i need to bleed the hydraulic system? if so, how?

is there any adjustment on the slave maybe to make it engage with the pedal sooner?

please. i am having a hell of a time with this.

Re: need help with my T56 clutch and hydraulics

i had a similar problem when i got my t56 swap. different people said i could bleed the hydraulics, but i never got that to work. so i went to a gm dealer and bought a new assembly, installed it, has worked perfect ever since.
