what 700r4 governor do i have?
took one out of a trans i got over the weekend it has notched weights that measure .065IN 1.50MM the weights have spi stamped on them and the governor has a diamond with a j in the middle stamped on it.

no pics i kno its either a iroc police or vette just dont kno which one i want the most rpm wot shift a factory governer will get me (dont wanna mess with that b&m junk kit)

From your description, it sounds like the governor that was in my S10s 2.8 TBI 700r4. It shifted @ about 5,600 rpm.

If the inner weights are thin and pointed with a hollowed out outer weight, it is a Z-28. If the inner weights are thin and pointed with a round hole on the outside of the outer weight, it is a Corvette.
