Which flywheel / flexplate - 153 or 168
Can someone please tell me how I can find out whether my stock flexplate is the 153- or 168-tooth variety? My old one was broken and I threw it out without knowing that I needed that information. You would think the auto parts stores would know but when I just tell them I need a flexplate for a 1989 Camaro IROC 5.7 they always ask which one.
