9inch and 12bolt folks got a few ?'s for you.
Hello,
I have been running a strengthened 10bolt behind 400rwhp for a while with no trouble but looking down the road at a possible upgrade I have a question.
When you switched to a 9inch or 12bolt rear was there any difference in the torque arm mount? Meaning did the bigger rear end move the arm any closer to or farther away from the transmission? Or was it a simply bolt on?
My reason for asking is that I have the jegs torque arm and it is drilled and bolted into the floor pan, any significant shift in torque arm length is a major pain.
Any other fit issues?
Now I run purely on the street so I am not sure if I will simply stick with modified 10bolts or not, but any fitment issues would be nice to know..
Thanks!!
