hey i was wondering if someone who knew about auto trannys could shed some light on this. when i picked up my t/a in november...it would chirp the tires going into second gear...but it would rev waay out before it shifted(into any gear) any help would be appreciated

 

I'm no transmission expert by any means, but one free and easy check you can do is the detent cable. Here's the article that teaches you how to adjust it, if you do not already know.
