Quick Question whatt are my specs?
I just recently bought a 91 V8 Transam GTA... first of all what kind of transmission is in that.. someone told me itsprobably a 700R4 nother question.. Transmission went out a few days ago... I was driving and my tires locked up... i can only drive it in 1st gear to get iit home.. as soon as i add tranny fluid it comes out the bottom... is there a gasket that went or what>>> is there a teardown tutorial somewhere on here... ide greatly appretiate it!! thanks

If it's a four-speed automatic transmission, it's a 700R4.
Your transmission sounds like it needs intervention beyond the skills of the average home mechanic.
