700r4 Compatability
Will a 700r4 from a 87 2.8 camaro work with a 92 305 camaro. I know the bellhousing is part of the transmission casing and can't be changed, but the rear shaft can be swapped out to retain the electric speedsensor. I'm just wondering if the bellhousing bolts are in the same place and are the same number.

No, the bellhousing bolt pattern is completely different on 60* V6's and 90* V8's. Also, the V6 trannies are not built with as many clutches and plates as V8's so they are weaker. You need to find a V8 700R4.
