Not all but most did come with 700r4's. My T/A has a 700r4 but then my formula has a T5 manual. Just depends on if it came with a 305 TBI or a 305 TPI.

I've got the LB9 TPI... So I could assume that's a 700r4. What about posi, did they all come with that or were some limited slip?

Ya my 88 Trans Am w/ a 305 TBI has an open diff, but ppl just call it posi track.
