This is a problem i have with a second new performance artcarr trans that i bought off ebay (i think its for a vet). the tag on it said full mods and seems to run fine in forward up on jackstands. All the gear positions move the wheels forward may not have neutral not positive. I set the car down to push it out of the shop and it would not move. it is locked up like it is in park no matter what ger i select. Any advise would be helpfull thank u.

 

is your linkage adjusted properly?

 

yes linkage is adjusted and tv cable is set. I crawled under the car and took the linkage off and manually shifted car and same thing happend

 

Well if linkage working you have some internal issue again

 

i have been told that the sprag gear is in backwords or something like that does that sound right

 

Well yes if it was backwards you would not have reverse it would be more like you put on the brake .But at the same time you would not go forward on D or OD it would be like neutral so I doubt thats it
