Hey guys im taking out my 700r4 from my 83 z28 had a 305 now has a 350, and going to a t-5 from an 85 trans am with a 305.. i have a few questions.. one.. will i need the drive shaft form the donor two will i need the speedo from the donor and three will i need its flywheel? thnx again guys!

You will hve to measure the driveshaft due ti the diff tailshaft lengths on 700r4's. In my case i was able to use the 700r4 driveshaft. Yes you will need a flywheel and the one from the 305 should work, you will need to have it turned at a machine shop usualy about $30. Make sure you get the pedals, master and slave cylinder, and the crossmember. speedo will be the same, the gear in the tranny that feads your spedo might need to be changed depending on gear ratio differences in the rearend.

No i mean the clutch master cylinder, its connected to the clutch pedal and mounted inside the engine bay, a tube runs from it to the slave cylinder that is bolted on the transmision bell housing.
