this guy i know is selling a diff. here is the discription.


for sale quantity 1 : chevy s-10 posi diff 3.42 gears
10 bolt 7.5" carrier not too sure what year it is from, but i'd guess mid 80's
(the diff closest to the wall in the pic)

diff appears to be in good shape purchased originally for a project that i decided not to do. for use as is, or i'm pretty sure you can pull out the posi carrier and gearing to put inside a 60's-70's style camaro, chevelle nova malibu whatever... i suggest you do some internet research if your not too sure for your application..
pictured is the diff and in the second pic is a box of the old brake parts off this diff. i was going to use new parts but i kept this box of old ones just in case.. parts are parts.. good to have


my question is. i think in 3rd gens we need 26 spline? how do i know if this one is? thanks

 

89 and older F body are 26 spline, 90 and newer are 28 spline.
