Loud/Noisy T5

I've noticed a whining coming from my trans. The first thing I did was check the fluid, all good. It used to just whine in first, now it's begun to get louder and it whines in 2nd and 3rd as well. Now, this has happened over a period of time, but it's really loud now and I'm curious as to the cause.

Thanks,

Could the forks be messed up inside the trans?

Re: Loud/Noisy T5

I'm not sure what it is....

It's just that the noise is getting louder, and the shifts are getting stiffer. I'm gathering parts for a T56 swap, but I'd like to drive the car until I swap, not have it broke down in the garage.

Thanks,

I'd contact Bob at Hanlon Motorsports and see what he says. Best T5 (and T56) guy I know of. He's pulled my chestnuts out of the frying pan more times than I can count.
