GM 10 bolt

The are several different gear sets that came with these cars. Check the RPO codes in the console or pull the cover on the rear end to know for sure.

Run it until it breaks unless you are adding a lot more power and you know it will fail.

Any gear ratio above what you have now will feel better as you drive. I went from 3.08 to 3.73 and it was awesome. If you need to drive highway more than local I would recommend a 3.23 or 3.42.

Its pretty rough, I need to pull the back cover off and look at the ratio, just to be positive of what I have.

I guess it does sux after driving 'up north". In the southern states you can take things apart years later and it's just road grime. If stock it will be 3.08.

If you plan on doing a rear swap,3.23s are great for city and highway driving.
