early lockup/and locks in 2,3,4

Transmission: 700r4 edge 3000 stall
Axle/Gears: 9-bolt 3.73
early lockup/and locks in 2,3,4
89 iroc, 700r has a edge 3000 stall. the tcc locks up in 2,3, and 4 gears i think its only supposed to lockup in 4th right and at 45mph? Mine starts locking up at 30mph and its annoying and lugs the engine. I rigged up a switch for it but i heard running it without lockup will burn up the 3-4 clutch packs

The ECM can lock it at any time in 2nd gear and up. If it's always locking though you might have an electrical problem.

no its not always locking, if i step on the brakes itll unlock (how i rigged the switch). its just annoying i thought it was only supposed to lock at 45mph. so is it normal? am i just feeling it more because of the stall?

You'll definitely notice it more now because of the stall.
