tranny shifting at 3/4 to WOT (its long)

okay i have a brand new rebuilt 700r4 tranny with a corvette servo and i bought a b&m shift kit to put in it. i trust the guy that built the tranny for me and i know he used top of the line rebuild parts...my ? to you is 1)will that be too much shift or is that okay for the tranny ? 2)if i dont abuse the tranny with the shift kit in it will it last or am i going to have to rebuild again in a year or something ? 3) my last ? for you is if i put my foot to the floor the tranny doesnt shift out of first, second or third untill it is about 5000-7000 rpms depending on how hard i punch it , those # scare me and make me wonder if it will hurt the motor. is there anything i can get to make it shift sooner(only a problem a WOT or at about 3/4 pedal)or is that normal operation?

I'd say adjust the TV cable out a little ways just a click or two until you get it were you want it, that's the only thing I know to do.And if any one else responds they'll probably tell you the same thing.
Hope it helps.
