T-56 and 383

Don't know if this it the right place to past this, so feel free moderators to move it. Anyway, can you make a 383 and a T-56 combo work? I heard there was some problem with the flywheel not working...
Thanks,
Douglas

Sure you can make it work, if your using an 87-up block, just use the LT-1 FLYWHEEL and have it balanced to whichever your preference is, either internally or externally. If your using a pre-86 block, use a CENTERFORCE 2-piece Rear Main Seal T-56 FLYWHEEL and have that balanced to the rotating assembly of that 383 in either externally or internally. The centerforce flywheel costs around $300. This application has been done many times by people here and also on the LT-1 sites. HTHs
