I am going to be rebuilding the rear-end in my 89 RS. It is a 10-bolt rear. Can anyone tell me the spline teeth and ring gear size?

you should have 28 spline axles and 7 1/2" ring gear.

You might want to double check the spline count. I thought 89 was the changover year. You may still have 26 spline. The ring gear is actually 7 5/8" but it's still called 7 1/2"

Actually, 1988 was the change over year, so you should have the 28 spline.
